Matching Help

Learn how our matching algorithm works

How Matching Works

SkillStamp uses a two-stage matching system to connect talents with the right jobs. Stage 1 provides free daily background matching, while Stage 2 offers AI-refined top 10 candidates for employers.

Two-Stage Matching

Stage 1: Daily Background Matching (Free)

Runs automatically every day at 3 AM UTC. Uses SQL-based algorithm to match all active jobs to verified talents based on skills, experience, location, and education. Only jobs with ≥70% match score are shown to talents.

Stage 2: AI Refinement (Paid)

Employers can pay to get top 10 AI-refined candidates. The system takes the top 50 from Stage 1 and uses Claude Sonnet to evaluate career trajectory, project impact, and cultural fit, returning the top 10 with detailed reasoning.
