Who Cohort 01 is for
Places are limited, so it is worth being honest about fit before you spend ten minutes on the form.

- Live in Germany or the EU and can work here
- Have written SQL before, even if only in a course or bootcamp
- Are aiming for Data Analyst, BI Analyst or SQL Analyst roles
- Can work in English — the assessment is in English
- Can set aside time for the assessment in the next few weeks

- Have never written a SQL query — start with a course first
- Are a senior data scientist looking for architecture-level roles
- Are based outside the EU with no right to work here
- Are looking for a job board — this is an assessment, not a vacancy list

What Cohort 01 assesses
The pilot is deliberately narrow. We assess the skills that come up in almost every junior and mid-level data analytics role in this market.
SQL
Joins, aggregation, filtering and window functions against a realistic schema.
Spreadsheet modelling
Cleaning messy data, building a working model, and checking your own numbers.
Reporting and dashboards
Turning a question into a chart or report that answers it without decoration.
Analytical communication
Explaining what the data shows, what it does not, and what you would do next.
Python, machine learning and data engineering are not part of Cohort 01. Tell us on the form if they are your strengths — it shapes what later cohorts cover.

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Cohort 01 assesses your data skills and gives you evidence you can show. Whether an employer interviews you is still their decision.
